Valeta G. King. Valeta has been employed as a legal secretary/paralegal for nearly 28 years. From 1974 through 1986 she was employed by The Williams, Novack & Hansen Law Firm. During 1974-1984, the majority of her time was devoted to probate matters, as well as general law and litigation matters. From 1984 through the present, the majority of her time has been spent in civil litigation and personal injury matters. Valeta has been employed by the firm now known as Newton Kight L.L.P. since October of 1986. In addition to providing secretarial and paralegal support for Bruce Jones and Lorna Corrigan, Valeta does the billing for the firm and in-house network administration. Valeta grew up in Stanwood, Washington, and graduated from high school there in 1973. In 1974-75, she completed the Probate Paralegal and Law Orientation classes at Edmonds Community College. Valeta is a member of Marysville First Assembly Church and is active in the music department there, playing piano/keyboard for the choir, regular services, weddings and funerals.
